The Billboard awards nominees were announced on April 11th, 2016, with The Weeknd earning the most nominations with twenty. Britney Spears is set to receive Billboard Millennium Award. Celine Dion is set to receive the Billboard Icon Award in recognition of her career spanning over three decades.
Singer Meghan Trainor has been added to the lineup of the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. The chart-topping, Grammy-winning pop star, known for her single All About The Bass, will deliver a rendition of her new retro-vibe hitNO. NO is the first single off from her sophomore album Thank You. As previously announced, Madonna will honour Prince at the ceremony.
Trainor will join already announced performers Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, Justin Bieber, Celine Dion, Fifth Harmony, and Demi Lovato, among others.
